Xybots
Xybots is a sci-fi shooter with pseudo-3D environments explored from the third-person perspective. The game can be played by one or two players; the two-player mode takes place on a split screen. The hero(s) must navigate a series of underground Gauntlet-style mazes, killing bad guys and collecting health and other bonuses from flying saucers. The game is designed for cooperative use, although one player's bullets can hurt the other.
Story
In Xybots, players must travel through a 3D maze and fight against a number of robots known as Xybots, whose mission is to destroy all of humanity. The first player is "Major Rock Hardy", while the second player is "Captain Ace Gunn", but their abilities are practically identical, except for the movement speed.
