X-Men: The Official Game
X-Men: The Official Game (also known as X3: The Official Game) is Activision's video game based on the 2006 film X-Men: The Last Stand. The game covers the events of the films X2: X-Men United and X-Men: The Last Stand and follows the characters Wolverine, Iceman and Nightcrawler in particular. It also closes the gap between the two films and explains why Nightcrawler is not in The Last Stand. It also introduces new enemies to the X-Men movie canon, such as HYDRA, which FOX did not own the movie rights to. The game was released for PlayStation 2, Xbox, Xbox 360, developed by Z-Axis; Nintendo GameCube, ported by Hypnos; Microsoft Windows, ported by Beenox; Game Boy Advance, developed by WayForward Technologies; and Nintendo DS, developed by Amaze Entertainment.
