Worlds Adrift

A thousand years ago, a cataclysmic event destroyed a world into floating islands scattered across an endless skyline. Civilizations crashed, societies collapsed, and all seemed lost. Out of the wreckage emerged motley groups of nomads, flying from island to island in cobbled-together spaceships, searching for resources to get around. These are the players of Worlds Adrift: explorers of a new world and seekers of ancient knowledge. In the coveted ruins of the past are cryptic and forgotten fragments of technologies developed by civilizations that built a lot and witnessed the collapse of everything. Using this forgotten knowledge, players build bigger and more powerful sky ships that carry them further, past crushing wind walls, through devastating thunderstorms, and to completely undiscovered islands that hold the secrets of an earlier age.
