Wolfenstein RPG

Wolfenstein RPG is a first-person shooter and role-playing video game developed by id Software and Fountainhead Entertainment and released for cell phones in September 2008 and for iOS in May 2009. In 2013, the game was removed from the App Store. The gameplay follows the recipe of Doom RPG as it is shown in the first person, while it is more of a turn-based RPG than a shooter and focuses on the action. Combat and movement are turn-based, giving the player time to choose their reactions in combat. The player turns at a 90-degree angle and moves square by square. A step or action by the player allows all other characters in the area to take a step or action themselves. The game takes advantage of its deliberately slow pace and encourages players to take their time and examine every little nook and cranny, read the books on every shelf and destroy all the furniture to see if anything is hidden inside. Levels include underground corridors and weapon development labs, as well as a level with a moving vehicle. The game also includes two mini-games: the card game War and Chicken Kicking, where the player earns points by kicking a chicken into a scoring square.
