Wild Arms 4

You play a young teenager named Jude Maverick. You live in a quiet village, floating high above the ground, unaware of the world that lies below. But one day your world is torn to pieces and you descend to earth to face the terrible reality: The world of Filgaia has been devastated by wars. A few settlements surrounded by rusty tanks are all that is left of civilization. The democratically elected government has some plans to improve the world's conditions, but when you meet a young girl they have used as a tool for their purposes, you realize that you must find a better plan to save her and the world from complete destruction. The fourth installment of the Wild Arms series leaves the traditional Wild West theme and takes place in a post-apocalyptic world. The gameplay system introduces hex-based combat. The battle screens are divided into seven squares, each of which can hold multiple party members or enemies. You control your characters on the battlefield and try to force the enemy into an uncomfortable position. There are also a number of abilities that you can learn and use in the battles to get advantages. As in the previous Wild Arms games, there are many environmental puzzles to solve in the dungeons.
