Story

Players wander through Depression-era United States at their own pace, meeting strangers who have their own stories to tell. Through these encounters, players can collect unique stories that they can then retell to unlock new interactions. In this way, the in-game stories themselves act as currency to progress through the game, and it's up to players to pair the right story with the unique needs of each character you encounter on your travels. Only through these right pairings will the characters reveal their true selves and gift you with the most powerful stories, the true stories that reveal something about their own lives. In Where The Water Tastes Like Wine, the stories organically take on a life of their own, growing larger and changing as they are told - and retold.
