Voltron: Defender of the Universe

Voltron was an anime series from the 1980s starring the giant robot of the same name. The complete robot is actually composed of five mechanical lions controlled by the Voltron Force. When the young pilots joined forces to create the powerful Voltron, they defended the universe against the evil King Zarkon of the planet Doom.
