Story
In the final days of the summer of 1992, players investigate the disappearance of Lucas Fairfax, a young boy from the fictional rural town of Kingdom, Virginia. You experience the game from the point of view of Anne Tarver, a graduate FBI special agent who is assigned to her first case. As a rookie, she gets an experienced partner, Maria Halperin, who is instructed by Tarver's superiors to keep a close eye on her. As the story unfolds, their trust is put to the test, and their investigation takes a supernatural turn.
