Vampires Dawn: Reign of Blood

In a bedtime story told by an old man to his young nephew, the protagonist Valnar must face his new existence as a vampire when the experienced Asgar bites and turns him. While Valnar struggles with his maker, he soon meets Alaine, whom Asgar once loved and whom Asgar also turned into a vampire after her execution. From Asgar's castle, the unusual trio is confronted with the vampires' past and a man who almost whipped them all in a crusade: Vincent Weynard.
