Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

Story

Treasure hunter Nathan "Nate" Drake (Nolan North), accompanied by reporter Elena Fisher (Emily Rose), finds the coffin of his self-proclaimed ancestor Sir Francis Drake using coordinates engraved on a family heirloom: a ring Nate wears around his neck. The coffin contains Sir Francis Drake's diary, which notes the location of El Dorado. Pirates attack and destroy Nate's boat, but Nate's friend and mentor Victor "Sully" Sullivan (Richard McGonagle) rescues them both in his seaplane. Fearing that Elena's reports might attract potential rivals, Nate and Sully drop her off at a dock. Following the diary to the specified location, Nate and Sully discover an alcove where a large statue once stood and realize that El Dorado is not a city but a golden idol. They find a Nazi submarine that contains a page from Drake's diary, which shows that the statue was taken to an island. However, mercenaries led by criminal Gabriel Roman (Simon Templeman) and his lieutenant Atoq Navarro (Robin Atkin Downes) intercept Nate and Sully. Sully is apparently killed by a gunshot to the chest, but Nate manages to escape, meets Elena and flies with her to the island. On the way, anti-aircraft forces Elena and Nate to bail out and they are separated. After retrieving supplies from the wreckage of the seaplane, Nate heads to an old fort to find Elena. Elena is briefly captured by pirates led by her old friend Eddy Raja (James Sie), but then she frees Nate and they escape to the island's old customs house. After finding records that show the statue was taken further inland, they find that Sully is still alive and accompanying Roman and Raja. Nate and Elena find and rescue Sully, who survived because Drake's journal dodged the bullet. He explains that he bought Nate time by giving Roman false information.
