Turbo Outrun

The sequel to OutRun offers a similar gameplay to the original. You'll see the action behind the car and the challenge is to complete each stage within the time limit. A contact can cause the car to skid, slow down or even roll over; in any case, you'll lose time. There are 16 stages across the USA, stretching from east to west, all presented in a different way. After every 4 levels, you'll get to a store screen where you can choose between different upgrades. As the title suggests, you now have a turbo booster installed that speeds up the car, but overuse can cause the engine to overheat, and it won't be recharged until you get to the shop. You have 5 continues, and if you don't complete the track within the time limit, it will cost you one.
