"Top Gear" sends players through eight countries around the world in one of four cars to tackle sharp turns, pit stops and debris in this arcade-style racing game."
Story
"Top Gear (Top Racer in Japan) is a racing game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, published in 1992 by Kemco and developed by Gremlin Graphics. The objective of the game is to become the fastest driver in the world by competing against other drivers in different countries. The franchise has nothing to do with the television series of the same name. The game is an arcade-style racing game that can be played by two players simultaneously." "When players first start the game, they have several options to choose from, including entering their name, choosing between four different controller layouts, choosing between automatic and manual transmission, and choosing between four unique cars. During the race, the player must steer and shift gears (if he/she has chosen a manual transmission). In addition, the player has control over three "nitros" that allow him/her to increase speed for a short period of time." - wikia
