Tomba!

Tomba! is a side-scrolling platformer in which players control Tomba, a wild boy in search of his grandfather's bracelet, which was stolen by evil pigs. Although Tomba is usually confined to a two-dimensional level, there are certain points where he can jump or climb to a new level. Tomba's main attack method is to jump on enemies to grab them, so he can hop on them before throwing them away. This way he can also open other objects such as eggs or treasure chests. Tomba can also use various projectile weapons such as maces and boomerangs, and swing on branches and poles. The game is based on a mission system, in which the main character's (Tomba) abilities are used to complete different tasks. When you complete a mission, you get a certain number of adventure points (AP), which you need for AP boxes that contain food (which gives you AP and restores 1 box of health) or items. For example, you need 50,000 AP to open a crate. AP are also needed to gain access to special locations or information later in the game. Not all missions are necessary to advance in the game, but they are required to fully complete the game. There are 130 events (missions) in the game, many of which depend on other events to be completed.
