Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon

The Red Army is back. After the Russian government collapses, a hardline leader wants to take over the republics. This is where Ghost Recon comes in, an advanced, futuristic squad of US Army soldiers. Unlike the previous Rainbow Six games, the gameplay focuses more on the military than on anti-terror maneuvers. Next-generation inventory and weapons give players a glimpse of the real U.S. Army's "Land Warrior" program, on which Ghost Recon is based.

Story

Eastern Europe, 2008. War has broken out on Russia's borders and the fate of the world hangs in the balance. That's when the call goes out for the Ghosts - a handful of specially trained Green Berets armed with the latest technology and trained to use the deadliest weapons. Their mission: to pave the way for a NATO peacekeeping force and keep the conflict under control before it literally gets out of hand....
