Those Who Remain

Those Who Remain is a psychological thriller set in Dormont, a small town in the USA. At first sight, Dormont seems to be a normal and typical American town. However, it is cursed by a demon that has shrouded everything in darkness. Most of the town's population is trapped in the darkness and cannot escape. Edward Turner is an ordinary man with a troubled past who finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. He soon finds out that something is wrong in Dormont. There are strange creatures roaming around in the darkness, killing anyone who gets too close. The only way to survive is to stay in the light. Danger in the dark isn't the only thing going on in Dormont. There are strange portals that emit a bright light and seem to take anyone who passes through them to another place that is similar and yet different, seemingly unreal, but very real. Actions taken in one place have an effect on the other.
