Story
Welcome to Sharpwood, where people know their neighbors by name and faithfully adhere to their traditions, no matter how barbaric those traditions may be. Bootleggers, gangs and screaming populists call this town home. Desperation grows like a cancer, hand in hand with violence. New sheriff Lilly Reed (voiced by Sarah Hamilton from the famous adventure saga The Longest Journey) has a tough job. She struggles to maintain order and peace while her subordinates are uncouth men unaccustomed to taking orders from a young woman. But everything changes when a mysterious stranger calling himself Warren Nash shows up in Sharpwood. And no one knows what he will bring to the town: Salvation or doom. Just like the first game, This Is the Police 2 is a mix of adventure and management genres, and this time there are more unexpected mechanics that will strengthen both the strategic and tactical parts of the game. It's not enough to just manage your police officers' equipment and keep an eye on their individual abilities. Each challenge requires the player's direct involvement, and the results depend on each of your decisions. Your subordinates are not just a resource, but living people with their own strengths, weaknesses, fears and prejudices that you'll have to reckon with to survive.
