The Witness
The Witness was the seventh game from interactive fiction pioneer Infocom. The character is a detective who is called to the office of millionaire Linder in Cabeza Plana, California. Linder fears that his life is in danger... and indeed, as he sits with the player in his office, he is murdered in front of the player's eyes. The player must then solve the murder.
Story
You wake up alone on a strange island full of puzzles that will challenge and surprise you. You don't remember who you are or how you got here, but you can only do one thing: explore the island and hope that you discover clues, recover your memory and somehow get home.
