The Twisted Tales of Spike McFang

The Twisted Tales of Spike McFang is an action RPG featuring the title character, a young vampire prince who must save his parents and protect the inhabitants of the Vladamasco Islands from the evil Von Hesler. But is it really his doing, or is someone else controlling him? Solve the mystery as you travel to different locations, fighting Von Hesler's henchmen and picking up (CPU-controlled) companions along the way. Spike McFang has three main methods of attack: he strikes with his cape, throws his hat like a boomerang or uses a magic card. The cards can also heal his health or give his companions extra strength. Spike can also devour the still-beating hearts of his defeated enemies (or the dropped tomatoes of his defeated enemies if you're playing the cleaned-up North American version) to restore his health. There are a total of four different hats that Spike can purchase as upgrades in his fight against animated garlic bulbs, bomb-throwing cats, head-spinning plants and a variety of other dangerous enemies.
