The Sims
The Sims is a life simulation game that focuses on the intimate details of individual characters, rather than on the development of an entire society or civilization. You'll have control over almost every aspect of the lives of the people that make up your chosen neighborhood population. The characters are developed from the ground up, and you give them personalities, looks, desires, moods, drives, living arrangements, professional and personal choices, lifestyles and reactions.
Story
Management in The Sims is all about choices. From the design of the physical environment to the mental attitude, emotional state and abilities of your Sims, you immerse yourself in their daily lives. You'll buy and place unique items for homes and offices, sell and replace worn-out furnishings, and build and maintain the world your Sims live in. You control your Sims in the stages of life development, and the chemistry between your Sims is also a product of your manipulations - all of them form the level and style of interaction through conversations with other Sims. The Sims offers a series of ten career paths that your breadwinners can go through, and each career advancement requires certain skills to be successful. Within each of the ten career tracks, there are ten levels of positions - your Sims can work their way up through the career fields. Your Sims can experience floods, fires, and robberies. Neglect, starvation, loss of energy, failure to visit the toilet - all these can affect your Sims and even stop them. Death is an option and entire families can be wiped out by complete neglect and starvation.
