Story
The game starts on a boat after the player creates a crew of characters. The crew can consist of one to six sims. After the crew is created, a slideshow of cell phone photos begins showing the voyage and the storm that destroys the ship. The player's starting Sim wakes up on the first beach on the shipwreck island. The sim finds books with the objectives he must follow to survive and escape on the island. Shortly after exploring Shipwreck Island, the Sim discovers a second island, Plane Island, which is much larger and more interesting than the first, and builds a raft to reach the new location. After arriving at the island, the Sim meets some of his lost crew members. The player then has the option to create a tribe of Sims if the relationship is strong enough. While exploring Plane Island, the player finds radios that he needs to reach a destination later in the game. A third island, Volcano Island, can be reached once the player finds the second beach on Plane Island and builds a canoe. On Volcano Island, the player discovers the remains of the Llama people. On this island, the player has the option to return to civilization. He/she can either build a boat or travel to the top of the volcano and use the radio parts to send an SOS signal to a nearby ship. The player can also repair a broken ceremonial forge on Volcano Island, which will cause a fourth island, Crystal Island, to emerge from the sea. The game contains many secrets to discover, including secret areas such as the Hidden Lagoon and the Secret Pirate Cove. These areas can only be entered once the player has collected items such as hieroglyphs and treasure map pieces, but this is relatively time-consuming.
