The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest
The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest is inspired by Peter Jackson's massive movie trilogy, and offers varied and memorable locations, as well as the likenesses of the actors that have become synonymous with their respective characters. The nicely animated graphics are cartoon-style, which gives the game a refreshingly unique look, while remaining faithful to the style of The Lord of the Rings. An attractive pencil interpretation of the story draws you into the game and brings you up to date with the events in the movies, accompanied by the Oscar-winning score that helped make the films so emotive. After that, you can expect brilliant graphics and atmospheric music that changes dramatically as Sauron's evil allies come at you. The excellent sound effects also recreate the intense mood of the movies: the howling of the Dark Riders, the howling of the wolves, the battle cries of the trolls, and the metallic clang of swords in battle will make you feel like you're in the middle of an epic and exciting adventure.
