The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is the fifth main installment of The Legend of Zelda series and the first one released for the Nintendo 64. It was one of the most eagerly awaited games of its time and is considered by numerous websites and magazines to be one of the greatest video games of all time. The gameplay of Ocarina of Time was revolutionary for the time and arguably had more influence on the later games in the series than any of its predecessors, despite having the same core of exploration, dungeons, puzzles and the use of items. Among the game mechanics, the time travel system is one of the most notable. At the beginning of the game, the player controls the child Link, but later an adult Link also becomes playable and each of them has certain unique abilities. Ocarina of Time also introduces the use of music to solve puzzles: As you learn new songs, you can use them to solve puzzles, access new areas and warp to other locations. Exploring the dungeons is a bit more puzzling than in the previous games, but they aren't too complex.
