The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night

The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night is a 3D action platformer that takes place directly after the events at the end of The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning. Players control Spyro as he searches for his girlfriend, Cynder. At the beginning, he has lost all of his different breathing powers from the first game, but gradually he gains the ability to breathe fire, ice, earth and electricity. New in this game is Spyro's ability to slow down time by using his newly learned Dragon Time ability. The game does include some simple puzzles that involve flipping switches, but the main focus is still on combat. Spyro's main attack is his headbutt, but he can also use his various breaths to defeat enemies, provided he has enough magic power. By defeating enemies, he earns blue gems that he can use to level up his powers.
