The Incredible Crash Dummies
At a time when computer games were blamed for violence, bad language, epilepsy, and anything else the "moral majority" needed a scapegoat for, Virgin: The Road Safety Game gave us. Or not, because it is a normal platform game with a touch of questionable taste and purpose.
Story
You play a crash test dummy and try to get through levels full of hazards such as cars and fireballs within a time limit. If you come into contact with one of these obstacles, you lose a limb, and if you have none left, the game is over. As the character is not hindered in any way by the missing limbs, you can practically treat them as hit points, especially as there are screwdrivers that will restore a limb.
