Step into the hairy hobbit feet of Bilbo Baggins in Vivendi Universal Games' adaptation of Tolkien's prequel to the massive Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Story
You embark on the legendary quest, initially armed with a stick and a bag of stones, and battle your enemies in a platform-action style adventure that sees Bilbo go from shy Shire dweller to hobbit hero. As in the epic, the story begins with a group of nine dwarves recruiting the home-loving hobbit as a master thief for their mission to recover stolen ancestral gold from under the fiery snout of Smaug the dragon. The group sets off for the Lonely Mountain, battling various less friendly inhabitants of Middle-earth along the way, such as giant spiders, murderous goblins and bloodthirsty trolls.
