The Evil Within

The Evil Within is an action-survival horror game inspired by the Resident Evil series, with a gritty look and over-the-top gore. The game was directed by Shinji Mikami, the creator of Resident Evil and former director of Resident Evil 4. You'll have to move through the hostile game world with limited resources. To survive, you'll have to use your wits and manage your resources correctly, while encountering various horrors and dangers throughout the game. The environment can also change without warning in real time, depending on what you do, which adds even more variables to the game.

Story

While investigating a gruesome mass murder, Detective Sebastian Castellanos and his partners come across a mysterious and powerful force. After witnessing his colleagues being slaughtered, Sebastian is ambushed and knocked unconscious. When he awakens, he finds himself in a disturbed world where hideous creatures roam among the dead. Faced with unimaginable terror and fighting for survival, Sebastian embarks on a terrifying journey to find out what lies behind this evil force.
