Tesserae
Tesserae is a single-player video game developed by Nicholas Schlott and based on the DOS game Stained Glass by Kent Brewster. Tesserae is played by flipping colored tiles over other tiles to remove them from the board. While flipping tiles subtracts the color of the tesserae you jumped over, landing on a tesserae adds the colors, making it more difficult to remove that tesserae. The primary colors red, blue and yellow are combined to create the secondary colors purple, green and orange. A gray tile is created by combining all three primary tiles. The game starts simply with only primary tiles on a rectangular board. More complex board shapes and the introduction of secondary tiles increase the level of difficulty.
