TERA

Story

About a millennium ago, two all-powerful Titans, Arun and Shara, went into formless emptiness and fell asleep for reasons we can only guess at. The Titans began to dream. They dreamed of a world that took shape on their backs and was called Tera. The first beings to call Tera home were twelve god-like beings dreamed up by the Titans, but it wasn't long before the gods began to fight. As the dream continued, new beings called mortals appeared, they were less powerful but much more numerous. Arun dreamed of ambitious elves, clever humans, honorable amani, powerful giants, scheming devas, and mischievous poporis. Shara dreamed of devious sikandari, dark gulas and vampires, fierce wendigos, strange fairies, and serpentine nagas. Mortals were drawn into the divine wars of the gods, which eventually resulted in the gods being dead, imprisoned, or otherwise weakened. The mortal peoples did not escape unscathed. Some, like the Sikandari and most of the Giants, were wiped out, but others, like the Barakas and Castanians, emerged from the wars. Now that the gods are gone, the seven races - Amani, Barakas, Castanians, Elin, High Elves, Humans, and Poporis - must unite to fight off a new enemy. Their goal is to take over Tera and awaken the Titans to end their dreams and destroy Tera.
