Story

After Jin Kazama's victory over his great-grandfather Jinpachi Mishima in the last tournament, he has risen to become the new head of Mishima Zaibatsu. Following his father's previous leadership, Jin uses the company's resources to become a global superpower, cutting national ties and openly declaring war on all nations the following year. This action plunges the world into an extremely chaotic spiral, in which a huge civil war breaks out around the globe and even in the space colonies that orbit the planet. Meanwhile, his father Kazuya Mishima has risen to become the leader of the rival Mishima Zaibatsu company, the G Corporation, having previously assassinated the company's top officials for attempted murder. Kazuya sees Jin's actions as an obstacle to his own plans and becomes the only one who can directly oppose Jin's control. He puts a bounty on Jin's head for anyone who can catch him. Jin then announces the sixth King of Iron Fist tournament, prompting many people to enter the tournament to defeat him.
