Tales of Hearts: Anime Movie Edition

Tales of Hearts was released in two different versions, each with a different style of cutscenes. The Anime Movie Edition uses anime-style cutscenes produced by Production I.G.. Shing Meteoryte is a young man who lives in a small village by the sea and is taught the art of sword fighting by his grandfather. The latter bequeaths him an unusual weapon, the Soma, with which he can harness the power of the Spiria - the embodiment of a person's heart and soul. Shing meets a traveling brother and sister, Kohaku and her brother Hisui. Through an unexpected turn of events, Shing accidentally breaks Kohaku's Spiria Core, the source of her feelings. Now the trio must embark on a journey to make Kohaku's heart whole again.
