Super R-Type

In this SNES sequel to the arcade shooter R-Type, you are the R-9, the most advanced form of Earth's defense against the evil BYDO Empire. You'll have to go through seven stages and collect power-ups to defeat the bosses that have returned from the arcade versions of R-Type and R-Type II. Your R-9 ship can also team up with FORCE, which are invincible units that surround your ship to protect you, and can also charge up and attack.
