Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island is a platform video game that is a prequel to Super Mario World from 1990. In the game, players take on the role of Yoshi, who accompanies baby Mario through 48 levels to reunite him with his brother Luigi, who was kidnapped by Bowser's minions. A platformer from the Super Mario series, Yoshi runs and jumps to reach the end of the level while solving puzzles and collecting items. The game has a hand-drawn aesthetic that is new to the series and is the first in which Yoshi is the main character. The game introduces his characteristic abilities: he can jump fluttering, produce eggs from swallowed enemies and transform into vehicles.
