Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels
Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels is a direct sequel to Super Mario Bros. Not to be confused with the western Super Mario Bros. 2, this sequel to Super Mario Bros. is an expansion of the original with many reused graphics and concepts, although there are also new ones. The game was initially released only for the Japanese Family Computer Disk System.
Story
One day, the peaceful kingdom where the mushroom people live was invaded by the clan of the giant turtle Bowser, who has powerful magic. This magic turned the harmless mushroom people into stones, bricks and plants, and the Mushroom Kingdom fell into ruin. The only one who can break the spell and revive the mushroom people is Princess Toadstool, but she is now a prisoner of the great wizard King Bowser. But Mario has risen and raised his hand, ready to defeat the members of the Turtle clan, save Princess Peach and restore peace to the Mushroom Kingdom.
