Super Mario 64
Super Mario 64 is the first three-dimensional installment in the Mario series, in which Mario uses his expanded 3D movement arsenal to free Princess Peach from the clutches of his arch-rival Bowser. Mario must jump into worlds within paintings that adorn the walls of Peach's castle, uncover secrets and hidden challenges, and collect golden Power Stars as rewards for platforming attempts.
Story
"Mario, please come to the castle. I have baked a cake for you. Sincerely, Princess Toadstool." "Wow, an invitation from Peach! I'll be on my way right away. I hope she can wait for me!" Mario is so excited about the invitation from the princess who lives in the mushroom castle that he quickly puts on his best dress and leaves immediately. "Hmmm, something is not quite right here.... It's so quiet..." Mario shakes off his unpleasant premonition and enters the silent castle, where he is greeted with the gruff words, "There's no one home!". Now get the hell out of here! Bwa, ha, ha." The noise seems to come from everywhere. "Who's there!!! I've heard that voice somewhere before..." Mario begins to search the entire castle. Most of the doors are locked, but when he finds one open, he peeks inside. On the wall hangs the largest painting he has ever seen, and behind the painting he hears the strangest sound he has ever heard.... "I think I hear someone calling. What secrets does this painting hold?" Without thinking, Mario rushes to the painting. As he is drawn into it, another world opens before his eyes. Inside the painting, Mario finds himself in the middle of a battle against Bob-ombs. According to the Bob-omb Buddies, someone ... or something ... suddenly attacked the castle and stole the "Power Stars". These stars protect the castle. With the stars in his power, the monster plans to take over the mushroom castle. To achieve this, it also wants to turn the inhabitants of the painting world into monsters. If nothing is done, all these monsters will soon pour out from inside the painting. "Such a crazy and cunning plan ... this must be the work of Bowser!" Princess Toadstool and Toad have also disappeared. Bowser must have kidnapped them and sealed them in the painting. If Mario does not immediately retrieve the power stars, the inhabitants of this world will become Bowser's army. "As long as I'm around, Bowser won't get away with this!" Stolen Power Stars are hidden all over the painting world. Use your wisdom and strength to recover the Power Stars and restore peace to Mushroom Castle. "Mario! You're the only one we can count on."
