Supaplex
Supaplex is the first Boulder Dash-like game that is not entirely grid-based: the playing field is an obvious grid, but objects do not "snap" from one grid position to another, but can be halfway or "between" grid positions. Supaplex introduces a number of new elements not found in Boulder Dash, such as bugs, floor pieces that randomly cause life-threatening electrostatic discharges, ports that restrict Murphy's movement to certain directions, and terminals that trigger yellow utility disks. Utility Disks are explosive disks, and they come in three different colors: orange disks function like zonks, but explode when hit or dropped. Yellow discs do not fall, but can be pushed in any direction and explode when the terminal is used. Red discs can be carried and dropped when needed and explode seconds later.
