Summer Athletics 2009
Summer Athletics: The Ultimate Challenge is a collection of sports events based on the Summer Olympics. It includes 28 sports, divided into eight disciplines: Swimming, Jumping, Throwing, Cycling, Running, High Diving, Archery and the new Clay Pigeon Shooting (two variants). The handling is similar in all of them: rhythmic movements to keep the athlete moving, and quick-time events (pressing a button when it appears on the screen) to carry out certain actions. The rhythmic movements mentioned depend on the input device the player uses, for example, in swimming the player has to alternate between pressing two buttons if he uses a keyboard and turning the analog sticks if he uses a gamepad. In clay pigeon shooting, the character aims automatically, the player himself only has to shoot at the right time.
