Strider 2

Released in 2000 in arcades and on the Sony Playstation, Strider 2 is the sequel to the popular arcade and multiplatform game Strider. This game is considered the actual sequel to the original Strider, and not Strider Returns. Strider Returns is not considered part of the series because it was not developed by Capcom, was exclusive to the West, and was hated by most people. Strider 2, on the other hand, was very well received. Although it was praised by critics and fans of the series, Strider 2 unfortunately didn't sell well. The Playstation version of the game included the original Strider on a separate disc so that those who had never played it could familiarize themselves with the series. In the United States, there was a misprint that switched the labeling of the discs so that the Strider 2 disc was labeled Strider and the Strider disc was labeled Strider 2.
