Star Wars: Dark Forces

The Empire is spreading its evil claws across the galaxy, devouring planets with devastating results. Through much fighting, the Rebel Alliance has learned of a new Imperial battle station, the Death Star, which has enough power to destroy an entire planet. The evil Empire is secretly building a massive army to complete its arsenal and make its reign of terror unstoppable. Kyle Katarn, a former Imperial stormtrooper, must join the Rebel Alliance's Covert Operations Division and take back the Empire from within, one battle at a time. Unlike many other Doom games, Star Wars: Dark Forces took a realistic approach: missions followed a specific storyline, sometimes interrupted by scenes to advance the narrative. Each mission had its own briefing and objective. The levels were designed to represent real bases, mines, installations and other well-known places from the Star Wars universe, such as the interior of Star Destroyers, Jabba's ship, Coruscant, etc.
