SSX

SSX is the first installment in a series of snowboarding video games that specialize in extreme sports titles with unrealistic or arcade-style gameplay, including exaggerated jumps, elaborately designed runs, and improbable tricks. As you win medals in various disciplines, you’ll unlock new courses, characters, and boards, and improve your snowboarder’s skills. You can earn new outfits by completing a character’s trick book—to do this, you must perform a certain number of specific tricks during the game. Players have three types of boards at their disposal: trick-oriented freestyle boards, all-around BX boards, and race-oriented Alpine boards, which are not designed to be ridden backward. The courses are located all over the world. The snowboarders also come from all over the world and speak in their native languages.
