Spheroids

In Spheroids you'll take control of Lucas, a nervous Canadian boy who goes on an adventure with his mad scientist companion Otto, after discovering that the government has hidden alternative universes from the cubic world in which they live. Unfortunately, there are orbs in these alternate universes that want to turn everything upside down, so it's up to Lucas to save the world from these dangerous aliens: the spheroids. In the 32 levels of Spheroids you'll encounter many different environments, in which you'll have to avoid numerous dangers and destroy enemies. Items such as the "modified piton" that Otto Lucas lends will help you cross the environment, and there are many more to find. Spheroids is a 2D sidescroller that combines mechanics from classic platformers like Super Mario Bros or Umihara Kawase with "combat" sections from Pang! (or Buster Brothers) inspired fighting sections in a comic science fiction setting inspired by movies and series such as Futurama, Rick & Morty, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future or Spaceballs.
