In 1991, the USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics), the greatest military power in history, suddenly and unexpectedly collapsed. Since then, the fallen empire has lain lifeless - a rich corpse just waiting to be cleaned. Now a sinister ex-KGB general code-named Shadowman is leading a flock of vultures to attack from all parts of Eastern Europe and seize Russia's nuclear warheads and weapons of mass destruction. With these "wars of liberation," Shadowman aims to shake democratic Russia to its foundations and bring about a return to the Cold War ... or worse. You fly by helicopter to the Crimea and discover the plot of this Russian madman with the help of thermal spying devices. You'll have to quickly move on to the Black Sea to prevent the hijacking of intercontinental ballistic missile ships, respond to an attack on a chemical weapons facility in the Desert Passes and then recover a nuclear reactor in Transylvania. As you successfully thwart these phases of Operation Vulture, Shadowman is forced to take his coup to the streets of Moscow. Pilot your helicopter through five unique 3D worlds as you complete 41 deadly missions. Enemy vehicles, tactics and reactions change depending on your activities, making this the first of STRIKE's new Living Battlefields.
