Soul Sacrifice

Soul Sacrifice is a brutal combat experience where every decision has consequences. The main protagonist of Soul Sacrifice is one of the innocent bystanders enslaved by a powerful and cruel sorcerer named Magusar, who absorbs human sacrifices in order to remain immortal. Just before the protagonist is to be sacrificed, a talking book appears before him. The book, called Librom, is a collection of stories describing past battles between monsters and the powerful Magusar. The player character can enter the world of the book and experience the battles in so-called phantom quests, thus gaining the necessary experience and strength to defeat Magusar. The game has two endings, depending on whether the player saves or sacrifices Magusar after his defeat. There is also a third ending, which occurs if the player defeats Magusar before completing all the main stories in Librom.
