Sonic R
Sonic R was originally released for the Sega Saturn and is a racing game featuring characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Sonic and Tails one day come across an announcement about a competition called "World Grand Prix" to determine the fastest in the world. Sonic didn't show any interest at first, but when he saw Dr. Eggman's name among the participants, he decided to join in. Knuckles wanted to get even with Sonic, Amy was firmly convinced that Sonic would definitely participate, and Eggman secretly prepared some secret weapons. Who will claim the glory of the World Grand Prix?
Story
Sonic and Tails are about to go on vacation when Tails discovers an advertisement for a "World Grand Prix". At first Sonic isn't interested, but then he notices that the antagonist of the series, Dr. Robotnik, is also participating in the race, which makes him change his mind and participate. It turns out that Dr. Robotnik has recently learned where the rare and powerful Chaos Emeralds are, which he intends to use to enslave the world, and that the World Grand Prix is actually a trap to distract Sonic. Sonic and Tails, along with Knuckles and Amy (who have heard about the race and the plan and have decided to participate in it) must balance both: winning the race and getting the Chaos Emeralds to keep them from Dr. Robotnik's grasp.
