Sonic Eraser
Sonic Eraser is a video game from the Sonic the Hedgehog series that was available for owners of the Sega Meganet, a modem for the Sega Mega Drive in Japan. Although it is a title in the Sonic series, it does not have much in common with the other games in the series apart from the titular character. Since the Meganet modem was never available worldwide, Sonic Eraser became a "lost" Sonic game until the Sonic CulT website got its hands on the ROM via Sega's Japan-only download service in February 2004. The game is a fairly simple puzzle game. In Versus mode, one player's Sonic attacks the other player's Sonic when he gets a combination of three consecutive tiles. The other player briefly loses control of his pieces. The game is available from Sega's B-Club download service.
