Sonic Drift
Sonic Drift is a racing game whose gameplay style and controls are strongly based on Sega's arcade game Out Run. Here, players race against the other three characters on a track for a top position in the race. The single-player mode of the game is Chaos GP, where the player's goal is to win three different race tracks (green, yellow, and red). Each track consists of six different racing courses that the player goes through one after the other. Each race course consists of a circuit that must be completed three times. The controls of the playable characters are quite simple. Their basic actions are accelerating to move forward, braking and moving left or right on the tracks. In tight turns, the player can brake and turn in a certain direction to drift through the turns. However, if the player overdoes this method, the playable character will skid and lose control. If the player moves outside the race tracks, the racer's acceleration on the rough terrain decreases noticeably. There are also obstacles along the edge of the race track that stop the player completely if the playable character crashes into them. The player can also collect rings along the race tracks to perform special moves for each character.
