Sonic Blast

Fully rendered graphics put Sonic in an exciting 3D game environment. An all-new gameplay perspective puts you right in the middle of Sonic's 3D adventure! The evil genius Robotnik is after the Chaos Emeralds and it's up to Sonic to stop him. Save the innocent Flickies before Robotnik makes them part of his evil plan! Sonic Blast was the last Sonic game for the Game Gear. The game was also ported to the Sega Master System in Brazil by TecToy and released in December 1997, making it the last game developed for that system. Although this game was released in late 1996 along with the similarly named Sonic 3D Blast, the two games have little in common. There are no common enemies, levels or bosses in the two games. The story is also completely different. Sonic and Knuckles team up to collect five pieces of a Chaos Emerald and confront Dr. Robotnik in Silver Castle.
