Remember Sensible Soccer? Jon Hare, the head designer of the famous soccer series, is back with a spiritual successor called Sociable Soccer. Hare has launched a £300,000 Kickstarter campaign for Sociable Soccer, which will be released as a download for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2016 if successful. In an in-depth exclusive interview with Eurogamer, Hare reveals why now is the right time to return to the spotlight of soccer video games. He also reveals his personal disappointment with how Sensible games have fared since he sold his company in 1999, and explains how Sociable Soccer will fare against competition from FIFA and PES.
