Smash Tennis

Smash Tennis is a tennis game that was developed by Namcot for the Super Nintendo in 1993. In Europe, it was published as Smash Tennis by Virgin Interactive. In North America, the game will not be released until February 2020 and will be part of the Nintendo Switch Online offering. The controls in Smash Tennis are similar to other tennis games, especially Namco's previous tennis game World Court Tennis: the player moves the athlete around the court and presses the buttons with the right timing to win the match. This time there is no story mode, but a tournament mode. The aim here is to win the Grand Slam by competing in various tournament matches. However, a match only consists of a single set. There are 20 athletes (male and female) to choose from and they have different advantages and disadvantages.
