Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves

Story

One year after the events of Band of Thieves, Sly Cooper, Bentley, Murray and other unknown persons attempt to open the Cooper vault on Kaine Island. Unfortunately, they are intercepted by Dr. M, the owner of the island. Murray and Bentley escape, but Sly is grabbed by a monster. In this scene, Sly sees his life flash before his eyes, and the game jumps back. Sly learned from one of his father's colleagues, Jim McSweeney, that the Cooper vault is hidden on Kaine Island. The vault contains the wealth of the Cooper clan accumulated over the centuries. Sly set out to find the vault, but found that M had built a fortress on the island to access the wealth in the vault. Sly needed additional experts to overcome Dr. M's extensive security; he needed the Cooper gang back in action. First, Sly and Bentley search for Murray, who had left the team out of guilt for causing Bentley's leg injury that eventually paralyzed him. They learn of a mob boss, Octavio, operating in Venice, Italy, where Murray was. Sly finds Dimitri in a cell at the local police station. He agrees to find Murray if Sly helps him escape. Sly finds Murray while evading Carmelita Fox, who has become even more hateful of crime since their last encounter. Murray had taken training from a peace-loving figure named Guru to become more peaceful. Murray refuses to rejoin Sly and Bentley until the channels are clean, the task the Guru gave him. Sly and Bentley hunt down Octavio, who has been polluting the canals with tar to get the city to like the opera again. After making some plans, they destroy Octavio's comeback performance, but Octavio injures Bentley, which makes Murray so angry that he stops his training, fights Octavio and defeats him. Octavio is arrested and Murray rejoins the team.
