SiN Episodes
Planned as an episodic sequel to SiN, set 4 years after the end of the game, only 1 of the planned 9 episodes was released. The episodes were to be playable in any order, with independent story segments, a planned playtime of 4-6 hours, and an overarching story. Originally, a development cycle of 4-6 months between releases was planned to allow future episodes to change depending on what players had done in previous episodes. To this end, certain game data was recorded that could be anonymously uploaded by players at any time. This information included gameplay options such as difficulty level, support level, and use of cheats, as well as statistics such as weapon-specific kills, deaths per map, secrets found, time to completion, and high scores for those playing in Hardcorps mode.
